Memberships

Memberships are available for many levels

Membership is open to individual artists, teachers, studio owners and manufacturers. Members of the ICA will have access to teachers and judges manuals. The teachers manual covers all aspects of ceramics, clays, mold making, slip making, casting, proper cleaning of the ware, hard spots not hot spots, kilns and firing of different clays, glaze defects, basic decoration, and different products such as underglazes, glazes, overglazes, stains  and brushes. Health and safety information for specific products is left to the manufactures. The judges’ manual covers what a teacher should know about helping students prepare pieces for competition, as well as general knowledge for the classroom. A quarterly newsletter will be sent to members. Join us in moving the ceramic industry forward by joining today!

Individual Artist Membership $25 Annually

Individual Artist Memberships are available for individuals working to create artwork for enjoyment, for themselves, as gifts or to sell. This level is not available to teachers, studio owners or commercial manufacturers. 

Teacher Membership $25 Annually

Teacher Memberships are available for individuals actively teaching ceramic techniques to others. This level is not available to individual artists, studio owners or commercial manufacturers.

Studio Owner (Dealer) Membership $50 Annually

Studio Owner (Dealer) Memberships are available for individuals retailing ceramic products and materials through a home or storefront studio. This level is not available to individual artists, teachers or commercial manufacturers.

Studio Owner (Distributor) Membership $75 Annually

Manufacturer Membership $100 Annually

Manufacturer Membership are available to anyone who manufactures ceramic products and materials for the ceramic industry. This level is not available to individual artists, teachers or studio owners.
